So, buddycloud (beta.buddycloud.org) now has topics that can be created to post to, and images/videos are embedding. I wonder where it will go? I must admit, I do like the look of the project. Like a brighter, friendlier twitter/chat something. You can even change your status etc now. though my avatar is still a funny looking gravatar, lol.

I think the point is ‘was shooting it over the top?’ and it was. This man buys his 15 year old daughter a laptop and cellphone? And then shoots it rather than give it away to someone less fortunate ? Maybe he should have instilled in her...

I have come to the conclusion that I can’t listen to most Matthew Good songs without crying. Even the newer songs feel nostaljik, or beautifully painful. Too much true emotion. Seeing him live in November was the most amazing thing. I<3 Matthew Good (oooh, this was SUCH a girly post…)

Wow. Snowing, AND blowing at gusts of 70km, -13 (-25 with the wind) almost white out conditions and STILL the schools arent closed today?
Except for my son’s preschool. The YMCA director - who is also a teacher at the preschool, got stuck, so she just called to say there is no preschool, but everwhere else is open as usual.
Sure takes a lot for Chilliwack to shut down schools. Probably...

I still would like to get together a Spiral Scouts in the area at some point in time. I started on it some time ago, and got put off by the lack of contact and lack of action behind the scenes. I was waiting for paper work re: criminal checks etc and 8 weeks later, nothing had been sent out. Huge back log of stuff… I ended up losing interest. Now the kids are growing and actually at the age...

Very proud of myself. I hauled the little ones out into the cold and shoveled the patio stairs, the front walk and the driveway. I figured the least I could do, seeing as how my husband is working his butt off while I stay at home comfy and warm, was to shovel the driveway enough so that he could get in it :)
The snow came up to the top of my little ones’ legs, but shoveled paths for them...

My son’s car. (it’s not insured anyhow, so he doesn’t need to dig it out) It’s a 89 civic, so not a large car, but regardless you can get the idea of the amount of snow we’ve had in the past 24-36 hours

Quince Wine is Bottled
First Batch. It has been just about 3 months, but fermentation had stopped a while ago. Levels dropped to 1000, originally had scored off the hydrometer, so Im guessing it’s a good strong brew. This batch was made with Lalvin 1118. I will leave the second batch to bottle in a few weeks. It has fully cleared and has stopped fermentation as well.
